Einführung
Die SANYO Component Europe GmbH wurde im April 2004 gegründet. Sie entstand aus dem Zusammenschluss der SANYO Energy (Europe) GmbH mit der SANYO Semiconductor Europe GmbH unter Einbeziehung des SANYO Electronic Devices Marketing Büros. Seitdem repräsentiert SANYO Component Europe in einmaliger Weise verschiedendste Produkte von mehreren SANYO-Unternehmensbereichen in Europa.
Das Produktspektrum beinhaltet jetzt industrielle und Consumer-Batterien genauso wie Photovoltaik-Produkte
— die klassischen Produkte der früheren SANYO Energy Europe. Auf diesem Fundament ruht auch SANYOs Engagement im Bereich Smart Energy Systems: die Zwischenspeicherung in Lithium-Ionen-Batterien optimiert die Stromnetzauslastung sowohl für private als auch für gewerbliche Nutzer. Große Kompetenz zeichnet SANYO auch im Bereich Batterien für Hybridfahrzeuge aus.
